Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev will hold consultations with future caretaker government ministers, Thursday.

The head of the BSP-led Coalition for Bulgaria parliamentary group Atanas Medrzhanov returned to President Rosen Plevneliev the mandate for formation of a government.
“I decline to set up a government,” Merdzhanov told Plevneliev. “We are sticking to our agreements.”

Bulgaria's President Vows Timely Formation of Caretaker Govt
Bulgarian President Georgi Plevneliev has assured that the caretaker government will be formed in time and will reflect the urgent tasks which the country needs to address.
Plevneliev told journalists in Plovdiv on Monday that the caretaker government was not supposed to be a panel of randomly nominated candidates, stressing that it had to be based on solid principles and priorities.
President Plevneliev Urges Outgoing Parliament to Review Budget
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has called on Parliament, which is to dissolve August 6, to initiate an urgent revision of the budget for 2014.
