Russia has denied stealing Carlsberg's business, saying its seizure was legal, in reaction to remarks made almost two weeks ago by the head of the Danish brewery company.

Carlsberg had announced in June that a buyer had been found for Baltika, which it has owned since 2000, and its 8,400 employees.

Carlsberg Group is about to create the world's first "paper" beer bottle. It will be made of wood fibers using a sustainable extraction method created on a 100% organic basis and fully recyclable. The company introduced two new prototypes of the eco-bottle at a special event in Copenhagen. 

Elina Tsankova is the new PR and CSR manager of Carlsberg Bulgaria since the beginning of August. She will be responsible for the internal and external communication of the company in order to contribute to its positive image as an employer, business partner and leading beer producer in the country, as well as for social projects, relations with media, institutions and more.

Danish beer giant Carlsberg announced it has acquired the remaining 49 percent of Olympic Brewery in Greece, following the 2014 merger through which Carlsberg had gained a 51 percent stake in the Greek firm.

Danish brewer Carlsberg announced on Wednesday it has completed the merger between Greek subsidiary Mythos and local Olympic Brewery, which produces the popular Fix brand.

Danish brewing group Carlsberg is planning to transfer part of its non-Greek production to Greece, as well as to transform this country into a junction for the production and exporting of products of the company to the Eastern Mediterranean.
