Online conversations revealed by Kathimerini shed light on the ongoing investigation into the alleged prostitution racket involving girls aged 14 to 18 in Athens. Six arrests have been made by the police in connection with the case.

A 26-year-old woman has been arrested in the northern port city of Thessaloniki on charges of running an illegal brothel, state broadcaster ERT reported on Saturday. 

The suspect allegedly ran the unlicensed brothel on behalf of a 61-year-old man, who took the lion's share of the proceeds from its illegal activities, giving her a cut.

Maribor – Police have arrested a 53-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man from Slovenia, and a 56-year-old Serbian woman who are suspected of human trafficking after police received reports of them forcing women into prostitution, the Maribor Police Department said on Thursday.

The Special Prosecutor's Office has brought charges against three persons involved in an organised crime group for trafficking of women for the purpose of sexual exploitation in the country and abroad, said the Appellate Prosecutor's Office, quoted by Focus News Agency.
