At least 37 killed in Ankara blast: Health minister

At least 37 were killed while 125 wounded people were hospitalized after an explosion hit central Ankara on March 13, Health Minister Mehmet Müezzino?lu has said in a press conference. 

A bomb-laden car caused the blast, Interior Minister Efkan Ala said at the same conference after a security meeting in Ankara. 

ISIL hits at Turkey's image abroad

Yesterday's attack perpetrated by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has important differences from the jihadist organization's two previous suicide bombings on Turkish territory, the Oct. 10 twin suicide attack in Ankara and the July 22 bombing in Suruç in ?anl?urfa province. 

Media ban swifter than ambulances: CHP leader

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal K?l?çdaro?lu has chastised Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) for being incapable of governing the country, citing the swift imposition of a broadcast ban following the Jan. 12 suicide bomb attack in Istanbul as evidence of such incapability.
