Victoria Nuland, third-highest ranking US diplomat and critic of Russia’s war in Ukraine, retiring

Victoria Nuland, the third-highest ranking US diplomat and frequent target of criticism for her hawkish views on Russia and its actions in Ukraine, will retire and leave her post this month, the State Department said Tuesday.

US opens F-35 window to Ankara

Washington has reopened the window for Ankara's return to the F-35 co-production program, on the well-known condition that it removes its Russian S-400 missile defense system from Turkey. Similar discussions had taken place in the past, even with proposed alternatives for relocating the S-400s even to neighboring Azerbaijan, but to no avail. 

HealthMin Pintea to demand management of public health insurer be replaced

The Health Ministry is waiting for a report on the healthcare information system to be conducted by the National Health Insurance House (CNAS), Health Minister Sorina Pintea told AGERPRES on Thursday, adding that she will recommend the General Secretariat of the Government to replace the management of CNAS. The insurer's healthcare card information system has been down for 18 days.
