Yugoslav Ex-Royals Urge Montenegro to Return Confiscated Property
Descendants of the last Yugoslav king, Petar II Karadjordjevic, have called on the new Montenegrin government to do more to give them back property they claim belongs to their family.
The family lost its assets in Yugoslavia after the communist takeover following the end of World War II, when the country became a republic.

He stated that the people won the elections, and that the clergy contributed to that victory to some extent. "It is clear to every normal person why we do not do that. If we would not allow the government to determine when we will be ordained to the rank of priest, then we should not interfere in government personnel decisions," Bishop Joanikije told today's Politika.

Representatives of the Metropolitanate laid a yule log in front of the Cetinje Monastery in the presence of a large number of citizens and believers, including Serbia's Ambassador to Montenegro Vladimir Bozovic and businessman Miodrag Daka Davidovic.
Strong police forces were set up between the two groups of the faithful.
Police beat up Bishop of Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC)
"Bishop and some of worshipers were knocked to the ground and beaten with batons and feet. Two believers were also injured trying to protect him. One had a broken hip and another a collarbone and they were hospitalized at the Pljevlja hospital", it is said in the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral.
