Chairmen of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The high representative should have left Bosnia-Herzegovina a long time ago, says the current chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanic.

Ivanic, who represents Serb in the tripartite body, also told Tanjug in an interview that the Office of the High Representative (OHR) is staffed by people "who have no other alternative."

Bakir Izetbegovic is under scrutiny of U.S. secret services because of his connections with the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, writes the daily EuroBlic.

The results of the Serb Republic (RS) Day referendum cannot be annulled, Chairman of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Mladen Ivanic said on Friday.

Only the consequences of the referendum can be annulled, Ivanic, the Serb member of the tripartite rotating presidency, told the Avaz.ba website.

Increasing tension within Bosnia's main Bosniak [Muslim] party, the Party of Democratic Action, SDA, suggests that the party leader  - who is also chairman of the Bosnian Presidency - Bakir Izetbegovic, is losing his grip, analysts say. 

SARAJEVO - The new chairman of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanic, said Friday it would be good to organise a trilateral meeting of the presidents and PMs of Serbia, Croatia and BiH to ease political relations.

Bakir Izetbegovic has told Serb Republic (RS) President Milorad Dodik that he "better change his behavior, or be replaced."

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid tribute on Wednesday night to Bosnia's wartime president, Alija Izetbegovic, on the 13th anniversary of his death.

"Alija, as leader in the fight for Bosnian Muslims, enabled the survival of Europe's most important Islamic community," Erdogan tweeted. 

As a vote recount for the disputed mayoralty of Srebrenica began on Monday in Sarajevo, the Bosniak-led Party of Democratic Action, SDA called for a complete annulment of the local polls in the wartime flashpoint town.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic says Bakir Izetbegovic should explanation a statement he made comparing RS President Milorad Dodik to Muammar Gaddafi.

Nikolic said this for the Belgrade-based Vecernje Novosti newspaper on Tuesday, referring to Izetbegovic - a Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) politician who currently chairs the tripartite Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
