Turkish Airlines, GE Aviation sign engine agreement
Turkey's flag carrier Turkish Airlines and the Turkish branch of United States-based GE Aviation signed an agreement including plane engines and 15 years of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, GE Aviation announced on April 25.

China Ordered 184 Airbus Planes
China has ordered the delivery of 183 Airbus A320 aircrafts, which 13 airlines need, French officials said after French President Emmanuel Macron ended his visit to the world's most populated country. The planes will be delivered in 2019 and 2020.

First Beijing-Athens direct flight lands at El. Venizelos airport
The first direct Air China flight between Athens and Beijing landed at Athens International Airport on Saturday morning. The Air China Airbus A330-200 had more than 200 passengers on board, including the Greek premier's wife.

Starbucks takes full control of China stores in $1.3 bn deal
U.S. coffee chain Starbucks has announced it will take full control of its mainland China outlets in a $1.3 billion deal, the largest single acquisition in the company's history.
It will buy the remaining 50 percent of its East China joint venture from Taiwan's food and beverage giant Uni-President, according to a company statement issued on July 27.
Searches for flight MH370 are officially terminated
The searches in the Indian Ocean for the Malaysian Airlines MH370 flight have been officially called off after three years.
According to an announcement made by China, Australia and Malaysia, although the most advanced technological equipment were used, the airplane was not located.
Turkish cargo plane crashes near Bishkek: 32 dead
At least 32 people, including six children, were killed when a Turkish cargo plane, belonging to the ACT Airlines, crashed into a village near Kyrgyzstan's main airport on Jan. 16.
