Refugees temporarily housed at Tae Kwon Do, but Greek govt has no set plans for their future
Greek Alt. Migration Affairs Minister Ioannis Mouzalas admitted that migrants are being taken to the Tae Kwon Do stadium at Paleo Faliro, an upmarket southern suburb of Athens. He stated that the migrants relocation is step by step however admitted that the next steps had yet to be decided upon. “I don’t know where migrants will go after here,” he said. “You’ll know then.”
Six migrant children drown off Turkey’s coast
Six children drowned on Tuesday morning after a rubber boat carrying Afghan refugees to Greece sank off Turkey’s Aegean coast, the Associated Press (AP) reported citing Anadolu Agency, Turkey’s state-run news agency.
Five migrants were rescued by the coast guard, while a search was underway for two missing people.

Unbelievable! Turkish frigate passes through Corinth canal (vid)
The image of a Turkish warship passing through the Corinth canal is not a usual occurance. The ship in question is the anti-torpedo ship Sokullu Mehmet Pasa. The video has gone viral with a number of viewers believing that the ship had something to do with two frigates around the Aegean between Lesbos and Chios in violation of Greek territorial claims.

Turkish pilots violate Greek airspace
Turkey proceeded to a major challenge just a few days after Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’s tweet on nervous pilots.
Six Turkish F-16 fighters entered Greece on Tuesday at 15:01 and flew over four Greek islands, Fournoi, Makronisi, Anthropofagoi and Agathonisi.

Aegean town to host Love Festival
Nezir, a young, 1935-born Turkish man from the coastal town of Dalyan on the Aegean Sea, built a boat out of tin cans so he could reach the Greek island of Chios to see his beloved, Tinika, according to legend.
This was before he was treated as a spy by officials from the two counties bordering the Aegean.

3,000 refugees arrive at Piraeus port
Two ferries carrying 3,000 refugees from Mytilene and Chios arrived at Piraeus port on Monday morning.
More specifically, “Blue Star Patmos” with 1,424 refugees arrived at 08.30 am and “Ariadni” ferry with 1,579 refugees arrived almost an hour earlier.

One migrant dead, two missing in capsized boat in Aegean Sea
At least one person has died and two others are missing after a boat carrying refugees sank on Oct. 27 in the Aegean Sea, off the Turkish province of ?zmir.
The Turkish Coast Guard on Oct. 28 said 42 people were rescued from the sea soon after the incident off the resort town of Çe?me. It also said a search and rescue operation was underway to find two missing refugees.

The bodies of two migrants were found on the Greek islands of Lesbos and Chios on Oct. 26 after accidents aboard two boats bound for Europe, according to Greek police.
A 21-year-old woman drowned after falling off a boat near the island of Chios, according to accounts from 35 survivors who were travelling in the same vessel.
