Italian film director Paolo Sorrentino on Tuesday opened the 11th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival.
The event, founded by Serbian filmmaker Emir Kusturica, is held each year in the village of Mokra Gora, on Mt. Zlatibor, in the west of the country.

Three Serbian cinemas to be part Film Festival Rotterdam
BELGRADE - Three Serbian cinemas, Fontana (Belgrade), Eurocinema (Subotica) and Kupina (Nis), will play an integral part in the holding of the 44th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) that will run from January 21 to February 1, Art & Popcorn, a Serbian production company, has said in a release.
Cinema of Novi Sad cultural centre joins Europa Cinemas
NOVI SAD - The cinema of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad (KCNS) has officially joined Europa Cinemas with support from the Eurimages fund.
KCNS Director Andrej Fajgelj and the editor of the institution's film programme Djordje Kacanski ceremonially unveiled the Europa Cinemas plaque on the KCNS building on Thursday.
Eurimages to support Turkish films
The Board of Management of the Council of Europeâs Eurimages, European Cinema Support Fund, has agreed to support 20 film projects of feature films and two animated films for a total amount 8.3 million euros.

Year of European film in Nis
NIS - The festival entitled “The Days of the European Film”, which will showcase films made in 32 member states of the Council of Europe, is taking place in Nis, southern Serbia, and for this city the entire year will be marked by the European film.
The festival will show movies from Germany, Hungary, Denmark, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, Slovenia, Portugal and other countries.
