Serbian Film Center Denies Censoring 'Anti-Serb' Movie
Scriptwriter Dimitrije Vojnov and actor Nikola Kojo have accused the Serbian Film Center of banning the filming of a film called "Mezimica" ["Favourite"] because it shows Serbs in a bad light.
The Center has denied the accusations, saying the contract for the movie was terminated by agreement and accusing the two of damaging the country's film industry.
Belgrade's International Film Festival Kicks Off
The 46th edition of FEST, under the slogan Come Closer, will take place from February 23 to March 4., featuring 116 premiers and ten cinematic classics.

Kustendorf Festival opens
Italian film director Paolo Sorrentino on Tuesday opened the 11th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival.
The event, founded by Serbian filmmaker Emir Kusturica, is held each year in the village of Mokra Gora, on Mt. Zlatibor, in the west of the country.

Train Driver's Diary wins awards at Prague festival
BELGRADE - Milos Radovic's film Train Driver's Diary and actor Lazar Ristovski have won awards at the Prague Independent Film Festival, the production company Zillion Film said in a statement on Monday.
Indian-Serbian movie wins Italian festival's prize
Land of Gods, an Indian-Serbian co-production, has won the best foreign film and best director Grand Prix in Bari, Italy.
The movie was directed by Serbian filmmaker Goran Paskaljevic.

Kusturica looking to wrap up acting career
BELGRADE - Emir Kusturica, the world famous Serbian film director and the winner of 2 Golden Palm Branches at the Cannes Film Festival, has said he plans to wrap up his career as a movie actor and will no longer participate in any films.
Kusturica stars in his new picture called "The Milky Way", which is going to be screened in Russia for the first time.
