Trump hits Toyota in latest broadside against carmakers and Mexico

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump targeted Toyota Motor Corp on Jan. 5, threatening to impose a hefty fee on the world's largest automaker if it builds its Corolla cars for the U.S. market at a plant in Mexico.

"Toyota Motor said will build a new plant in Baja, Mexico, to build Corolla cars for U.S. NO WAY! Build plant in U.S. or pay big border tax," Trump said in a post on Twitter.

Chided by Trump, Ford scraps Mexico factory, adds Michigan jobs

Ford Motor Co  on Tuesday scrapped a planned Mexican car factory and added 700 jobs in Michigan following criticism by Donald Trump, as the U.S. president-elect turned his attention toward rival General Motors Co with the threat of a "big border tax" over compact cars made in Mexico. 

Trump says he does not trust computers

President-elect Donald Trump says that "no computer is safe" when it comes to keeping information private, expressing new skepticism about the security of online communications his administration is likely to use for everything from day-to-day planning to international relations.

Trump rarely uses email or computers despite his frequent tweeting.

The US deports 35 Russian diplomats over cyber-attacks – Russia answers the exact same way!

The USA announced the deportation of 35 Russian diplomats as a retaliation for the cyber-attacks Obama is accusing Russia of. The diplomats were given 72 hours to leave the country.

 

Also two facilities the American authorities claim that were used to facilitate the attacks are shutting down.

 

Russia promises retaliation in event of new US sanctions

Russia on Dec. 28 promised retaliation against Washington in the event of new economic sanctions. 
"To be honest, we are tired of lie about the 'Russian hackers,' which is being poured down in the United States from the very top," Reuters quoted Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova as saying.
