New transplantation at IBCvT Targu Mures, 42 years after first open-heart surgery in Romania

Head of the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic of the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Surgery of Targu Mures (IBCvT) Horatiu Suciu on Tuesday announced having performed the second heart transplantation this year, precisely 42 years after the first open-heart surgery in Romania was performed at the same clinic.

Donations flood in for J. Jukes' Greek holiday

People were moved by the sad story of pensioner John Jukes, aged 70, who was mugged and robbed of money he was saving for a trip to Greece as a break from chemotherapy. The cancer battler/survivor received a flood of donations to help make his dream come true. People not only donated to help get John and his wife to Mykonos and Santorini but also left kind words.
