Over 75% of Adult EU Citizens are Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
In the EU, more than 75 percent of adult citizens are already fully vaccinated against covid. This was announced by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
She added that to date, the EU has exported more than a billion doses of vaccine to more than 150 countries around the world. The EU is the largest exporter of vaccines, the EC president said.

Turkey has administered over 113.86 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since it launched an immunization drive this January, according to official figures released on Oct. 16.
More than 54.8 million people have gotten the first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, while around 47.2 million are fully vaccinated, the Health Ministry said.

Phase 3 trials of local vaccine ‘to be concluded soon’
As Turkey continues its battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, authorities have intensified their efforts to introduce its locally produced vaccine.
The interim results of the Phase 3 trials of Turkovac, being carried out with the participation of thousands of volunteers across Turkey, will be announced very soon, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency.
Some 7.5 million adults unvaccinated in Turkey
Despite repeated calls from top government officials and experts, up to 7.5 million people aged 18 and above in Turkey have not yet received any doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while another 6 million have skipped the third dose of the coronavirus jab.

Pfizer jab recommended in Slovenia for under 30s
Ljubljana – Slovenia will follow the recommendation of the national advisory committee on immunisation to use the Pfizer vaccine for those under 30 years old, Health Minister Janez Poklukar said on Monday. In general, the use of mRNA vaccines will be recommended over viral vector vaccines.
