Turkey finishes group stage flawless at EuroVolley 2021

The Turkish women's volleyball team beat the Netherlands on Aug. 24, marking its fifth victory in five matches of the group stage in the 2021 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship (EuroVolley).


The crescent-star team won the game with 25-21, 25-21 and 25-20 at the BT Arena in Cluj Napoca, Romania and finished Pool D at the top spot.

Turkey won in straight sets over Finland on Aug. 23 in a 2021 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship Group D match.


The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team claimed the fourth group game with sets of 25-19, 25-12, and 21-15 at BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Turkey will play its last group game against the Netherlands tomorrow.

Turkey beat Sweden to maintain flawless run in EuroVolley

The Turkish women's national volleyball team on Aug. 23 beat Sweden 3-0 in the 2021 CEV EuroVolley to carry on their flawless run in the tournament.


Called the "Sultans of the Net," Turkey won the match at BT Arena in Cluj Napoca with the sets of 31-29, 25-21, and 25-11.

Turkey previously beat Romania 3-1 and Ukraine 3-0 in Pool D matches held in Romania.
