Open Book Night campaign to be carried out simultaneously in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca

The third edition of the Open Book Night campaign will be carried out on Thursday, on the occasion of the World Book Day, at the same time in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, the book lovers being invited to form chains around symbol-buildings in the two cities.

PM Ponta: Governmental collaboration with ethnic Hungarian party "not actual"

Bosch to open in Blaj research-development centre for automotive technology, to hire 300 specialists

Bosch Group will open this year in Blaj, where the company has three factories, a research-development centre for automotive technology, with the total number of Bosch employees in the town of Blaj to be over 1,500 by the year's end.

Council of Union Representatives approves UDMR's pullout from government by majority vote

The Council of Union Representatives of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) this Saturday approved by a broad majority (with just three votes against and seven abstentions) the proposal that the Union should pull out of government. The initial proposal for this move had been made on November 27, in Cluj, by UDMR's Standing Council.
