"Balkan group" of cocaine smugglers arrested in Spain

ZAGREB -- Croatia's Jutarnji List newspaper is reporting that "a Serb, a Croat, and a Montenegrin" have been arrested in Spain on drug trafficking charges.

Quoting Spanish media, the daily said they were caught while attempting to smuggle nearly 300 kilograms of cocaine.

Bulgarian customs officers have seized 2.5 kilogrammes of cocaine of very high purity at Sofia International Airport, the National Customs Agency said on Monday.

Serbian citizen caught smuggling 68 kilos of cocaine

LJUBLJANA -- A citizen of Serbia was arrested in Slovenia for attempting to smuggle some 68 kilograms of cocaine in a truck he drove, the local police said.
