Woman dies after being set on fire by husband
A 45-year-old woman succumbed to extensive burn injuries on Monday, a week after being doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire by her husband.
On January 8, after an argument, the 53-year-old husband, who is Roma, set the woman on fire, reportedly in front of two of their children and her brother.

Attack with gas canisters at entrance of apartment building
An apartment building in Palaio Faliro, southern Attica, was targeted on Sunday at dawn.
According to the police, unidentified persons placed gas canisters at the entrance of the apartment building at approximately 3.30 a.m.
The explosion blackened the building's entrance. The police found remains of flammable material containers at the scene.
Small explosive device goes off outside Kypseli apartment block
Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of a plastic container and flammable liquid outside an apartment building in the district of Kypseli, central Athens, early Saturday morning.
The device went off at 5.20 a.m. at the entrance of the building located on Patriarchou Ieremia Street, police said.

Anarchist group claims last month's Kolonaki bomb
An anarchist group calling itself the Iconoclastic Sect has claimed responsibility in a post on a Spanish website for the explosion last month outside the church of Aghios Dionysios in the upmarket Kolonaki district of central Athens.
The post was dated last Wednesday and said that the attack was aimed not only against the Church of Greece but society as a whole.
