Turkey's Tofa? makes 6-year-high exports in first quarter of 2016
Tofa?, a joint venture between Turkey's Koç and Italy's Fiat Chrysler, announced on May 3 that it made the highest volume of exports in the first three months of the year since 2010 thanks to demand for its new Aegea (Egea) model.

Toyota at top in global vehicle sales again
Toyota remained the top automaker in global vehicle sales after the first nine months of this year, selling nearly 7.5 million vehicles, outpacing rivals General Motors and Volkswagen.
Toyota Motor Corp.'s global sales for the first three quarters totaled 7.498 million vehicles, down 1.5 percent from the same period the previous year, according to numbers released on Oct. 26.

German minister: VW cheated diesel tests in Europe
Volkswagen has admitted using the same fake emissions test in Europe as it used to falsify results in the US, the German transport minister announced on Thursday.
Volkswagen is the second massive German multinational to fall into the US federal government’s sights, after Siemens.

VW’s shares keeps dropping
VW’s shares have dropped by a third over the past few days after VW admitted to selling cars around the world that were equipped with software that cheats on emissions tests.
There are fears that the Volkswagen scandal could have affect not just VW, but the wider German and European car industry.

Car manufacturer Tofa? halts production amid growing labor strike in 'Turkey's Detroit'
Turkish carmaker Tofa? has halted production at its plant in the northwestern city of Bursa, it stated on May 18, as a labor protest over working conditions widened across the auto industry.
The company added that it did not expect the stoppage to affect sales.
1,537 official cars to go on sale
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday that 1,537 official cars have been slated to go on sale.
The Serbian government decided last month to auction off 1,583 state-owned passenger vehicles.
