Greece needs to achieve some pretty impressive growth rates if it is to ever counterbalance the enormous cost of the economic crisis.

But this much-needed growth will not come if the government continues to unravel reforms that have already been implemented in the labor market, throws around special handouts and starts giving raises in the public sector, just like the good old days.

Around 2000 Startups have been Created in Bulgaria for 5 Years

About 2000 start-ups have been set up in the past five years in Bulgaria. About half still exist and 40% have received further funding from investment funds. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev in the presentation of the "Promotion of Entrepreneurship" procedure of the Operational Program "Innovation and Competitiveness" in Plovdiv.

New Measures to Fight against illegal Competition Practices in the Internal Market

The EU's committee of permanent representatives (Coreper) today endorsed an agreement between the Council, represented by the Bulgarian presidency, and the European Parliament on new measures to bring the enforcement of competition rules in line with the digital age and to tackle illegal competition practices in the EU.
