Turkish firm develops safe videoconference software

Turkey's one of the largest defense companies Havelsan developed an indigenous and safe videoconference software, named Diyalog.

The use of videoconference software rose sharply after the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused lockdowns globally.

The high demand for this software also revealed some security problems.

Twitter Axes Thousands of Accounts ‘Promoting Serbia’s Ruling Party’

Twitter has removed almost 9,000 accounts that were "working to promote Serbia's ruling party", the Serbian Progressive Party, it said on Thursday.

"Toward the end of last year, we identified clusters of accounts engaged in inauthentic coordinated activity which led to the removal of 8,558 accounts working to promote Serbia's ruling party and its leader," Twitter announced.

BlackBerry Smartphones Stopped from Production

China's TCL Communication, a manufacturer of BlackBerry smartphones has stopped manufacturing them, TASS reported. This was announced on the official website of the company, TASS reported.

The company won't sell anymore BlackBerry devices after August 31, 2020, and it has no rights to "design, manufacture or sell any new BlackBerry mobile devices" beyond that, either.
