Norway's Police Downgrade Threat Level

Norwegian police said on Wednesday they had lowered the national threat assessment, but still regarded an attack by militants as a possibility, reported Reuters. 

The risk level was lowered to "possible" from "likely", reversing an April decision to raise the threat assessment following an Oslo bomb scare and an attack in neighboring Sweden, where four people were killed.

European court rules against Greece in 2005 wiretap scandal death

The European Court of Human Rights on Thursday ordered the Greek state to pay 50,000 euros in damages and expenses to the family of Costas Tsalikidis, a mobile telephone company worker who was found hanged in his home in March 2005, shortly before a major wiretapping scandal involving his firm became public.

We must be open as to why 150 citizens of FYROM joined ISIS in Syria and Iraq. This was declared by the US ambassador to Skopje, Jess Baily, in front of foreign security experts, who, in the next three days, will discuss issues of terrorism and violent extremism.

Baily said that the prevention of terrorism requires the contribution of everyone.

Poland will Create Cyber Army

Military parts for cyber defence will be created in Poland, Polish Defense Minister Antony Macarevic said at a cyber security conference in the capital, Warsaw, quoted by TASS.

"We made a decision to create cyber forces, as well as to expand the activities of the National Center for Cryptology," he said.
