Those Christmas pics are hard to resist posting… especially bearing in mind that everybody seems to be doing this. There are reasons however as to why you should not be advertising your Christmas moments on Facebook and other social media.

An online campaign has been started titled, “Santorini, year-round destination”, and will run for three weeks in an effort to draw more people to the island from countries such as the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austraia, Scandinavia, etc. The advertising campaign will focus on some of the most popular travel sites such as tripadvisor, lonelyplanet, expedia, airbnb and others.

Aussie realtor loses $50,000 in big, fat Greek wedding scam

A Perth real estate agent has lost more than AUS $50,000 in a fake Greek wedding accomodation spam that drew the attention of the Western Australian Consumer Protection group that is now warning all tourism operators to be wary. The scammers, believed to be operating from Nigeria, used stolen credit cards in a complex story about arranging a Greek wedding to obtain money.

Why are parents squishing their babies’ faces into round little balls?

Social media make people do some very weird stuff to get likes and retweets. But the latest trend on Twitter is possibly the most bizarre we’ve ever seen.

It all started by Japanese comedian Masahiro Ehara, who somehow discovered that if he squishes his baby’s face, it will look like rice balls, and started a hash tag that translates to “#RiceBallBabies.”
