Facebook Inc Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg, aged 31, announced he would take two months of paternity leave after his daughter’s birth. Zuckerberg’s decision sends out a strong message to other fathers who oftentimes do not take advantage of the time off for fear of falling behind on work or being looked over at their next promotion.

Facebook Inc activated its "Safety Check" feature after deadly blasts in Nigeria late on Nov. 17 following criticism from users that the social media network was being selective about deploying it.

Facebook usually activates the feature, which allows users to mark themselves as safe, after natural disasters, but not bombings or attacks.

ISIS fans celebrate Paris bombings, threaten London and Rome

Supporters of the Islamic State (ISIS) militant group appeared exuberant on the morning after the Paris attacks in a number of different areas that resulted in more than 153 dead. Following the night of terror, Twitter was abuzz with hashtags #ParisIsBurning and #باريس_تشتعل (Paris in flames) apparently initiated by supporters of ISIS.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared a photo of himself and his pregnant wife, Priscilla Chan, expecting the couple’s first daughter. The portrait was created by Annie Leibovitz. Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook:  “I love her expression: intense yet kind, fierce yet loving, leading yet always supporting others.”
