Wednesday’s Covid-19 count up 6% w/w

Ljubljana – A further 1,738 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Wednesday, an increase of 6% from the same day a week ago in a potential indication that the spread in transmissions may be slowing down. However, a public health official has projected that infections will keep rising for the next four weeks.

US senators call for close look at TikTok

Leaders of the US Senate Intelligence Committee have called for an investigation into whether Chinese officials are getting access to data about U.S. users of video-snippet sharing sensation TikTok.    

In a letter to Federal Trade Commission (FTC) chairwoman Lina Khan, the senators urged her to scrutinize how well TikTok safeguards private data.
