Concerts by foreign artists, interrupted by the pandemic, have returned to normal. World-famous names meet with the audience in different parts of Türkiye for concerts throughout the summer, but rising prices around the world make the organization of such big stars very costly.

The 30th Istanbul Jazz Festival invites the audience to explore and experience innovative work all around the city with close to 40 concerts by more than 200 local and international acts.

Ayvalık Music Festival to start on June 8
AIMA Music Festival, organized by the Ayvalık International Music Academy (AIMA), will start on June 8 with a concert by O DA TEKFEN Brass Band. The event will present a feast of classical music and jazz, featuring a total of 12 concerts free of charge at the Ayvalık Municipality Büyük Park Amphitheater through Sept 24.

ABBA songs by IBB Orchestra
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) City Orchestra will give a concert on Feb 10 at the Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall, performing the songs of the legendary pop group ABBA. The concert, to be conducted by Üstüner Büyükgönenç, will begin at 8 pm. The event is free of charge.

Dancing like there’s no COVID-19: Paris hosts test concert
Thousands of people, masked and tested for the coronavirus, packed inside a Paris arena for a concert on May 29 as part of a public health experiment to prepare France to host big events again.
The show at AccorHotels Arena in eastern Paris features 1980s French rock band Indochine and DJ Etienne de Crecy. But the attention was mostly on the concert-goers.
