Dacic: Greater Albania biggest threat to peace in Balkans

BELGRADE - Albanian PM Edi Rama's statement about a union between Albania and Kosovo confirms once again that creation of a Greater Albania is a common platform of all ethnic Albanians, which is the biggest threat to peace and stability in the Balkans and Europe, Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said Tuesday.

Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, who is visiting Washington, says that his country has "the most developed democracy in the Western Balkans."

In addition, Bushati says that Albania is "a bastion against Russia's influence in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Croatia."

FM "reiterates strategic commitment to EU membership"

First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic on Wednesday in Belgrade received a delegation of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).

Germany FM: Normalization of relations with Kosovo necessary condition for EU

Serbia has the clearest stability of all countries in the region and it wants to have a stabilizing effect on other Western Balkan states.

This is what Serbian Prime Minister and President-elect Aleksandar Vucic said after meeting with German Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel in Belgrade on Wednesday.
