Turkey elected to UNESCO committee
Turkey has been elected to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizationâs (UNESCO) intergovernmental committee for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet DavutoÄlu announced on June 4.
