The Moncalvo mystery: Italian appraiser bought the work for 600 euros
Il Moncalvo's work "St Diego de Alcala in Ecstasy with the Holy Trinity and the Symbols of Passion," a pen and sepia wash drawing, was the only artwork never recovered after the what was described as the "theft of the century" at the National Gallery in Athens in January 2012, with the thief later claiming at his trial that he destroyed it after escaping.

Greek prices among highest
Greece has the second most expensive "basket" of basic household purchases among five European countries. These include countries with a much higher per capita income, such as Germany and Spain, but also countries with similar features to Greece's in terms of income and market size, such as Portugal, and developing economies such as Romania.

New property transfer platform launched
The much-touted "digital property transfer file," through which the Ministry of Digital Governance promises purchases and sales in 24 hours, was launched on Wednesday.
However, questions have been raised as to why authorities chose to create a new platform instead of upgrading an already existing one with which notaries submit digital contracts.
