Greece’s former king to be buried as a private citizen
Constantine, the former and last king of Greece, will be buried as a private citizen in Tatoi, the former summer residence of Greece's royals and where his parents and ancestors are buried, the government said Wednesday.

Greece’s last monarch Constantine dies
Greece's former King Constantine II, whose nine-year reign coincided with one of the most turbulent periods in the country's political history, died on Tuesday aged 82.
Greek public broadcaster ERT said Constantine, a cousin of British monarch King Charles III, died "of a stroke."

Former king Constantine remains hospitalized in ICU; condition critical
The former king of Greece, Constantine, remained hospitalized in a private Athens clinic's ICU for a fifth straight day on Monday, following a serious stroke.
Constantine, who turns 83 in June, suffered the stroke at his residence in Athens.
Attending physicians said his condition was critical.

St. Helen Holy relics to be on display in Greece for the first time (photos)
The Holy relics of St. Helen, mother of Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, will be displayed for the first time in Greece. Along with a section of the Holy Cross, the relics will be exhibited for pilgrimage in the Church of Agia Varvara (St Barbara) in Egaleo suburb of western Athens/Piraeus until June 15th 2017. Pilgrimage will be possible from the morning until 11 p.m. at night.
