Constitution (Amendment No. 16) Act

Ljubljana – The Constitutional Court has stayed the implementation of an act on EUR 780 million in investments in the Slovenian Armed Forces pending a decision on the constitutionality of the legislation. The Defence Ministry labelled the decision as “disproportionate”.

Chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Ludovic Orban said on Monday that the Constitutional Court's ruling on the fundamental law revision draft is "strange" and announced that the Liberals will draft a bill to amend criminal law so as to ban amnesty and pardon for corruption offenses.
