The Parliament has adopted for the second time the Black Sea Coast Planning Act, Focus News Agency reports. The bill was supported by 143 MPs, 66 voted against and 1 MP abstained.

The Committee on Regional Policy, Urban Development and Local Self-Government rejected the President's veto on the latest amendments to the Law on the Structure of the Black Sea Coast. 

The reason - the report of the Budget Committee is not ready,  reported NOVA TV.

Parliament postponed the issue of accepting the changes related to the reduction of party subsidies. They were scheduled to pass the second reading as the first item on the agenda of the National Assembly.

The PRO Europe parliamentary group is pushing for a change in the Constitution according to the will expressed in the May 26 referendum, but would also like to introduce other issues in the fundamental law, if there is a favorable majority for them, the group's representative Daniel Constantin said on Wednesday at the end of talks with President Klaus Iohannis.

At the end of presidential consultation of Tuesday, national chairman of the Save Romania Union (USR) Dan Bara said the "No convict in public offices" initiative should be part of the revision of the Constitution, mentioning that President Iohannis agreed.

The 2 million taxpayers who have already filed their income tax declarations for this year may now correct any mistakes on their online statements without incurring a fine. This is provided they do so by June 30, or any extended deadline the Finance Ministry announces for statement submission.

Parliament will vote in first reading today amendments to the Defense and Armed Forces Act of the Republic of Bulgaria. This includes the draft program for MPs for this week.
 

The intense reactions from the academic community to plans by Education Minister Costas Gavroglou to merge universities with technical colleges (TEIs) would have been enough to demonstrate that the minister has hardly discussed - let alone weighed the scientific merits of - the thousand-page relevant legislation recently tabled in Parliament.

Chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Ludovic Orban stated on Tuesday that the Liberal deputies will vote against the amendments brought to the Criminal Codes.
