Confidence in economy fell in June
The economic confidence index declined by 2.5 percent in June from May after rising in the previous two months.
The index was 101.1 in June, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said on June 23.
Any figure above the 100 mark indicates an optimistic outlook regarding the general economic situation.

Consumer confidence plunges in June
The consumer confidence index declined by 6.5 percent month-on-month to 85.1 in June, after improving in the two previous months, data have shown.
Any index figure above the 100-mark indicates optimism among consumers.
All main sub-indices in the consumer tendency survey, carried out jointly by the Central Bank and the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), fell in June.

Confidence in economy continues to rise
Confidence in the Turkish economy has continued to improve in May, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have shown.
The economic confidence index advanced 1.4 percent month-on-month to stand at 103.7, after the gauge for confidence recorded a monthly increase of 3.5 percent in April.

Greek economic sentiment climbs to a 12-month high
The Greek economic sentiment index rose to 108.8 points in April from 107 in March, the highest reading in the last 12 months, the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE) said in a report on Wednesday.

Confidence in economy improves
The economic confidence index advanced 3.5 percent in April from March, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have shown.
The index climbed from 98.8 in March to 102.2 in April, which marked the index's highest level since October 2021.
The index was down 0.2 percent month-on-month in March.
