24h Library Opens in Downtown Sofia
A literary club offering a reading room opened in the center of Bulgaria's capital Sofia on Wednesday, after having been on demand for years.
Peroto ("The Feather"), a library and a bookshop at the same time, is to offer readers the newest titles, Miroslav Borshosh, the Director of the National Palace of Culture where it is based, told guests at the opening ceremony.

Fuel retailers are reporting that rising demand has come to a sudden halt this month, despite the drop in prices. The development is indicative of the negative impact that the climate of uncertainty has had on the market.
New law to improve consumer protection
BELGRADE - Under the new consumer protection law, consumers who have a complaint about faulty goods will be entitled to a refund, replacement or repair for six months after the purchase, and the refund will be provided within 30 days, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said Monday.

Number of Vacant Offices in Sofia Declined in Q1 2014
The share vacant office space in Bulgaria's capital city of Sofia has dropped to 17.7% or just under 290 thousand sq.m. in Q1 2014.
This has been the lowest rate of vacant office space since Q1 of 2010, according to data by real estate company MBL, cited by Investor.bg.
Power rate hike for many users
The cost of electricity appears set to increase for low household consumption (of up to 800 kilowatt-hours per four months) and decline for low- and medium-voltage commercial consumers through the termination of so-called cross-subsidies, demanded by the countrys creditors through the revised bailout agreement.
