Turkish Cyprus reports no new COVID-19 cases in weeks
No new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) over the last 16 days, authorities said on May 3.
The Health Ministry announced that a total of 507 tests were conducted for the last 24 hours, with none testing positive.
The last positive case was confirmed on April 17.

Turkey on Saturday sent a shipment of medical supplies, including new Turkish-made ventilators, to Somalia to help the Horn of Africa country combat the coronavirus outbreak.
The ventilators, made through recent technological advances, will be "breath of life for our Somali brothers," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Twitter.
