In one of the metropolitan shopping malls simulators will be presented for drivers of artificial intelligence vehicles. The devices were successfully used in training centers in Germany.

Traffic on 'Trakia' Motorway was Restored in the Direction of Burgas

The traffic on 'Trakia' Motorway, in the direction of Burgas, at 135 km, was restored, API announced.

Border police warns of increased traffic on the border with Greece.

It is expected to gather trucks and cars at the Makaza border checkpoint, due to the beginning of the tourist season and the reduced number of employees from the Greek side.

Truck Inverted on the Trakia Motorway

Due to inverted truck, the movement in the active and in the emergency lane at the 27th kilometer of Trakia Motorway in the direction of Burgas is temporarily restricted. Traffic is carried out in the passing lane and is regulated by the "Traffic Police".

Drivers should move with heightened attention and appropriate speed.

Heavy Vehicles Will Be Stopped on Motorways and Congested Roads at Peak Hours during the Whole Summer

Due to expected heavy traffic to the sea during the summer the traffic of heavy vehicles on motorways and congested roads will be stopped at peak hours at the end of the week and on weekends. On 1 June (Saturday), the order for the movement of trucks over 12 tonnes enters into force in the summer months. The aim is to facilitate travel, increase safety and avoid congestion.

Bulgaria Opens a New Section of Struma Motorway after Blagoevgrad

Bulgaria on 23rd of May opens the traffic on the newly built section of Struma motorway after Blagoevgrad before the future "Zheleznitsa" tunnel will be launched. This will facilitate the traffic, especially before the expected busy traffic to Southwestern Bulgaria and Greece for the coming weekends and the summer season, reports BNT.

 

Construction of "Europe" Motorway in Bulgaria has Began

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov turned the first sod of the construction of "Europe" motorway on 23rd of May. The old Sofia-Kalotina road will be modernized and will connect Sofia with the Serbian city of Nis. Lot 2 of the Dragoman-Slivnitsa motorway should be ready by the end of 2020, Prime Minister Borissov said, reports BNT. 

Europe Inspection in Bulgaria For Financing Roads with EU Money

It will be inspected the construction of the main road network in the EU, its condition and whether the deadlines are being met.
The European Court of Auditors will check the financing of roads on EU projects, including in Bulgaria, reported NOVA TV. 

Auditors will have to determine whether the funds allocated provide better connectivity for citizens.
