Traffic on 'Trakia' Motorway was Restored in the Direction of Burgas
The traffic on 'Trakia' Motorway, in the direction of Burgas, at 135 km, was restored, API announced.
All citizens and transport companies can receive information about the current traffic situation from the API website - www.api.bg, as well as at any time of the day at 0700 130 20 at the API.

Heavy Vehicles Will Be Stopped on Motorways and Congested Roads at Peak Hours during the Whole Summer
Due to expected heavy traffic to the sea during the summer the traffic of heavy vehicles on motorways and congested roads will be stopped at peak hours at the end of the week and on weekends. On 1 June (Saturday), the order for the movement of trucks over 12 tonnes enters into force in the summer months. The aim is to facilitate travel, increase safety and avoid congestion.

Construction of "Europe" Motorway in Bulgaria has Began
Prime Minister Boyko Borissov turned the first sod of the construction of "Europe" motorway on 23rd of May. The old Sofia-Kalotina road will be modernized and will connect Sofia with the Serbian city of Nis. Lot 2 of the Dragoman-Slivnitsa motorway should be ready by the end of 2020, Prime Minister Borissov said, reports BNT.

The European Court of Auditors will check the financing of roads on EU projects, including in Bulgaria, reported NOVA TV.
Auditors will have to determine whether the funds allocated provide better connectivity for citizens.
