It seems that American car buyers still prefer US-based sports car over imported ones. The Ford Mustang is by some distance the sports car of choice for Americans. A $25,185 price tag combined with a 300 horsepower 3.7 liter V6 makes it unsurprising that, according to Ford, the Mustang has been the best-selling sports car in the States for 45 years straight.

Renault invests 200 million euros in Turkey for new model production

Oyak Renault, the Turkish enterprise of French car maker Renault, has announced that it will produce its new Megane Sedan model in Turkey. 

The company will invest 200 million euros in the production, Oyak Renault General Manager Tunç Başeğmez said at a Sept. 7 event in Bursa, the heart of car-manufacturing in Turkey. 

Prosecution appeals in highly publicized hit-and-run case

The Third Basic Prosecution has appealed the verdict passed in October that sentenced Marko Milic to 4.5 years in prison.

The 35-year-old was found guilty of killing Luka Jovanovic while driving a Mini Countryman vehicle, fleeing the scene, and later the country. The accident happened on Belgrade's Brankov Bridge in July 2014.

Do?an Holding becomes new distributor of Japan's Suzuki

Turkey?s Do?an Holding has become a new distributor of Japan?s Suzuki?s car, sea vehicle and motorbike brands. 

A new subsidiary of Do?an Holding, Suzuki Motor Vehicles Marketing Co, will run the sale and after-sale operations of Suzuki brands. Suzuki had previously been represented in Turkey by Haco Group.
