Delphi Economic Forum assures of safe conference amid coronavirus scare
Organizers of the Delphi Economic Forum issued an announcement on Friday assuring its international panels of delegates and participants that the annual conference will proceed as scheduled, on March 5-8, and that 98 percent of companies and individuals "remain committed to attend," despite the recent appearance of the new coronavirus in Greece.
Greek gov't steps up measures after fourth case of coronavirus confirmed
As health authorities confirmed the fourth case of coronavirus in Greece on Friday, the government pressed forward with its drive to contain its spread.
The fourth case is a 36-year-old woman who recently returned to Athens from northern Italy, according to the head of the Health Ministry's committee of experts on contagious diseases, Athens University professor Sotiris Tsiodras.

Romanian Opposition Cancels Congress Amid Coronavirus Fears
Romania's Social Democratic Party, PSD, on Thursday decided to postpone this weekend's extraordinary congress to elect a new leader, citing the outbreak of the coronavirus that reached the country on Wednesday when the first case was diagnosed.
No cases of coronavirus infection in Serbia
It is further reported that on February 28, by 8.00 a.m., there were no persons suspected to be potential carriers of the new coronavirus.
By February 27, 25 people were tested at the National Reference Laboratory of the Torlak Institute in Serbia under suspicion that they might have been infected with coronavirus.
All tests came back negative to the novel coronavirus.

Greece confirms fourth coronavirus case
A Greek woman who recently returned home from northern Italy became Greece's fourth coronavirus case and is being closely monitored, health authorities said on Friday.
The 36-year-old woman has been admitted to a coronavirus isolation unit of the capital's Attikon Hospital.

Iranian Vice President Infected with COVID-19
Iranian vice president for women and family affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar has contracted the coronavirus, IRNA reported, quoted by RIA Novosti.
"Due to some signs of infection, Ms Ebtekar was tested and tested positive," the vice presidential adviser told the agency.
