Coronavirus/ GCS: 964 patients in ICU; hospitalized persons - 6,952
Bucharest, Feb 14 /Agerpres/ - A number of 6,952 people with COVID-19 are hospitalized in the specialized health units, out of whom 964 in intensive care, the Strategic Communication Group informed on Sunday. In Romania, 39,318 people confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 infection are in isolation at home and 10,038 are in institutional isolation.

Active infections in Attica total 5,100; ICU occupancy rate at 83 pct
The dispersion rate of the novel coronavirus remains high in Greece, especially in the region of Attica, where active infections total 5,100, a fact that has heightened the concerns of scientists, pediatric infectious diseases doctor Vana Papaevangelou said on Friday.
Another 1,410 new Covid-19 cases reported on Friday
The National Organization for Public Health (EODY) reported 1,410 new infections on Friday, which drove the total number to 170,244.
None of them were reported at the country's entry points.
At the same time, 21 patients died from Covid-19, raising the total number of fatalities to 6,077. The median age of those who died was 80 years.

These are cases that have not previously tested positive, says GCS. As of Friday, 757,676 cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.
