For weeks now, we are witnessing that the situation is becoming more stable according to the numbers of people infected with coronavirus, but the holidays are yet to come, which means the danger of spreading the infection, experts say.

More than 1,300 new coronavirus cases, seven Covid-19 deaths

Ljubljana – A total of 1,324 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in Slovenia on Wednesday in 6,703 PCR tests, with the positivity rate down slightly. Total hospitalisations were down, but there were more people in intensive care this morning than on the day before. Seven patients with Covid-19 died.

Over 700 new infections, two deaths as Covid hospitalisations climb

Ljubljana – Slovenia recorded well over 700 new coronavirus infections for a second time this week as 741 cases were reported for Friday. This was as hospitalisations and intensive case cases climbed to what would be a third tier of restrictions under a new emerging government Covid rules strategy. Two patients died.

Slovenia adds 981 new cases to rising coronavirus count

Ljubljana – Slovenia’s curve of coronavirus transmissions keeps rising with another 981 people testing positive on Monday to drive the 7-day average up to 829. The growing trend is also reflected in Covid-19 hospitalisations, which rose back above 500. Nine patients with Covid-19 died, government data show.
