Coronavirus: 733 new cases, 21 deaths

Greek health authorities announced 733 new cases of the coronavirus for the 24-hour period ending 3 p.m. Sunday. There were also 21 deaths.

It was the first time since Monday that new daily cases dropped below 1,000.

Since the start of the pandemic a year ago, there have been 163,946 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, along with 5,972 deaths.

Coronavirus: 716 new cases, 18 deaths

Greek authorities announced 716 new cases of coronavirus and 18 fatalities in the past 24 hours Thursday.

Seven of the 716 cases involved international visitors tested upon arrival.

Greece's total number of confirmed coronavirus cases is now 154,796, with 5,742 dead.

Officials said 268 patients remain intubated in intensive care units while 1,095 have left ICU.

More than 800 new Covid-19 infections recorded for second day

Greek health authorities confirmed 858 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday, raising the total number of cases to 154,083.

This was the second day in a row that the number of new cases have been above the 800-mark.

Of these new infections, just 11 were reported at the country's entry points.

New coronavirus cases jump to 842

Greek health authorities reported 842 new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, pushing the total number of cases to 153,226.

Of these new cases, 13 were reported at the country's entry points.

There were 283 intubated patients on Tuesday, with a median age of 68, according to data from the daily bulletin of the National Organization for Public Health (EODY).
