Kosovo Minister Blames Falsified COVID-19 Tests on Wrongly Licensed Labs
Kosovo Health Minister Arben Vitia told BIRN Kosovo's TV show Kallxo Pernime on Wednesday that several labs in the country had obtained their licenses illegally, which had led to cases of falsified COVID-19 test results.
Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 1,724 Newly Infected, 67 Fatalities
In the last 24 hours Covid tests positivity rate stood at 8.1 percent . 1,724 are the new cases from the 21,167 tests made.

Greece Introduces Additional COVID-19 Test for Arrivers from Bulgaria
Greece is introducing an additional coronavirus test for those arriving from Bulgaria who have not been vaccinated and have not been ill, and a mandatory PCR or Rapid test will be performed at the respective border crossing point upon entering the country. According to Bulgaria's embassy in Athens, if the test is positive, the citizens will be placed under a 10-day quarantine.
New Entry Rules for Bulgarians Travelling to Belgium
From August 21, Bulgarian citizens travelling to Belgium should present, a negative PCR test results, done up to 72 hours before entering Belgium, a certificate that they have completed a course of vaccination against Covid-19 or a certificate that they had been ill and recovered from a laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection within 180 days prior to travel.
Mandatory PCR tests to start on Sept 6
Turkey will require unvaccinated people to present negative PCR tests to attend social events, such as concerts, or to enter public venues, including cinemas and theaters, starting Sept. 6.

England ends self-isolation for Covid contacts
Fully vaccinated people in England are from Aug. 16 no longer be required to self-isolate if they have had close contact with a coronavirus case, as restrictions continue to be eased.

Romania's COVID-19 daily case count rises by 323, in 27,134 tests performed in last 24 hours
Bucharest, Aug 15 /Agerpres/ - As many as 323 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Romania were recorded in the last 24 hours following 27,134 tests nationwide, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official novel coronavirus communication task force, reported on Sunday. These are cases of patients that have not previously tested positive.
