Pfizer Vaccine is Now Recommended for Children aged 5 to 11
The Commission for Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EDA) has recommended that the use of the Comirnaty vaccine by Biontech / Pfizer against COVID-19 be given to children aged 5 to 11 years.
The vaccine is already used on children that are 12 years old.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandar Vulin, the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lonar, and the Director of the Security Information Agency, Bratislav Gai.

Australia will begin to reopen its borders next month, the country's prime minister said on Oct. 1, 18 months after citizens were banned from traveling overseas without permission.

Turkey lowers jab eligibility age to 16
In an effort to further increase the coverage of its inoculation program, Turkey has lowered the eligibility age for the vaccine against COVID-19 to 16.
Those aged 16 and over are now entitled to make appointments to receive their first doses of the jab.

COVID-19 vaccination campaign: 16,311 people immunised in 24h, 9,938 with first dose
Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) reports that 16,311 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, of which 9,918 doses of Pfizer vaccine, 552 of Moderna vaccine, 321 of AstraZeneca vaccine and 5,520 of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. CNCAV shows that 9,938 people were vaccinated with the first dose and 6,373 received the second dose.

Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) reports that 16,705 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, of which 10,562 doses of Pfizer vaccine, 487 of Moderna vaccine, 287 of AstraZeneca vaccine and 5,369 of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. CNCAV shows that 9,867 people were vaccinated with the first dose and 6,838 received the second dose.
