The fourth wave of coronavirus has already arrived in some countries, some are still waiting for it, and it is inevitable in Serbia as well, experts say, considering that the opportunity to reach the expected percentage of immunization was not used.
How the states will welcome this wave depends on exactly how many citizens have been vaccinated.

Infection with Two Covid Variants Simultaneously Is Possible Experts Say

It is possible to catch two Covid variants at the same time, experts are warning after seeing a double infection in a 90-year-old woman who became sick with the Alpha and Beta types first identified in the UK and South Africa.

The woman, who died in March 2021 in Belgium, had not been vaccinated.

Her doctors suspect she contracted the infections from two different people.

Only Fully Vaccinated Can Enter Malta

Malta said  it was tightening entry rules to allow only fully vaccinated people to enter the country due to an increase in coronavirus cases.

Health Minister Kriss Ferne said that vaccination certificates will be required from July 14.

"We will be the first country in Europe to take this step," the minister said.

"People with chronic diseases get the virus very badly, they have deaths. To reassure our children, get vaccinated for them.

This was said on BTV by Prof. Mira Kozhuharova, who is her advisor to the Minister of Health.

Kozhuharova has no explanation for why people are not vaccinated.

Experts warn about exponential spread of Delta, urge vaccination
