Russia previously offered the European Union 100 million doses of its vaccine against COVID-19, but received a cold shower from Brussels, from where the company presenting "Sputnik V" was told that their vaccine is not in the European Union's coronavirus strategy.
However, the EU eventually succumbed.

The "green corridors" for free vaccination against Covid-19 are working again, but under one condition: immunisation will be underway in major Sofia hospitals if there are no waiting patients listed for the first four phases of the vaccination plan. In some places, vaccines reserves are already exhausted and the sites are temporarily closed.
Romania ranks 7th globally in terms of vaccinations against COVID-19 with both doses, reads the Facebook page of the National Immunization Platform.
Vaccination "green corridors" will be temporarily rolled off until new shipments of vaccines arrive, Health Minister Kostadin Angelov announced at the beginning of the regular briefing on the current epidemic situation in Bulgaria, as quoted by BNT. We now pin hopes on Johnson & Johnson's vaccine, he added.
