Another 669 people have been infected with coronavirus in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours, according to the Unified Information Portal. Of these, 65.47 percent have not been vaccinated.

The cases yesterday were 895.

Six people died, and 83.33 percent of those who died were not vaccinated.

Bulgarian Health Minister: There may be a new Covid Wave in the Fall

"Leading experts from around the world warn that there may be a new Covid wave in the fall. Whether this happens or not, we have a duty to do everything we can for vulnerable groups to be vaccinated." For comparison, a week ago the number of newly infected was 1180. 40 people died.

The new cases were identified by 10,052 tests (over 8.66 percent were positive).

"We were able to predict that sometime around March 20, 2022, it will be possible to lift all restrictions in Bulgaria arising from the green certificate and it will remain the only one valid in the European travel regulation." This was stated by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov at a press conference at the Council of Ministers.
