COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Italy

The National COVID Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) informs that according to data provided by the National Public Health Institute through the National Electronic Vaccinations Registry app, 38,128 people have received the coronavirus jab in the past 24 hours, with 28,019 injected with the Pfizer vaccine, 671 with the Moderna, and 9,438 with the AstraZeneca serum.

The National Committee for vaccination against COVID (CNCAV) informs that within the last 24 hours there were 43,319 vaccine doses administered, of which 28,615 - Pfizer, 5,372 - Moderna and 9,332 from AstraZeneca, according to the data provided by the National Institute of Public Health through the National Electronic Vaccination Registry.

The European Commission has so far approved all requests for the export of Covid-19 vaccines, including to Britain, the United States and Japan, since it set up on January 30 a mechanism to monitor vaccine trade, a spokeswoman said on Thursday.

Head of the National Committee for the coordination of vaccination against SARS-CoV-2, doctor Valeriu Gheorghita, informs that the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 until February 8, with Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, has reached 661,062, with 430,776 people who got the first dose and 230,286 people who got the second dose as well.

The European Union has finalized a deal with Pfizer and BioNTech for the supply of an additional 300 million doses of their Covid-19 vaccine, a European Commission spokesman told Reuters on Monday.

The EU secured 300 million Pfizer doses in November last year and announced a preliminary deal for 300 million more shots on Jan. 8, subject to talks about the terms of the new contract.

In the last 24 hours, 7.510 samples were tested, and a total of 2.693.265 since the outbreak of the epidemic.
Currently, 3.877 people are hospitalized, and there are 135 patients on the respirator.
So far, 4.126 people have died in Serbia, death rate amounting to 1.01 percent.
