The new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bulgaria are 288, according to the data of the Unified Information Portal. They were established with 2,471 tests, which means that the proportion of positive results is 11.65 percent.

In the last 24 hours, two people with confirmed covid infection have died.

Turkey has registered 180,448 U.K. variant cases of the novel coronavirus in 81 provinces, the country's health minister said in a statement on March 31. 

Following a meeting of the Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board, Fahrettin Koca said the U.K. variant accounts for 75% of all cases in the country.
