Purchases of up to 9,545 euros with card will be needed to claim 2016 non-taxable amount

Taxpayers who wish to claim the non-taxable amount of up to 2,100 euros should make purchases of 9,545 euros with debit or credit card.

However, it is not clear yet if the taxpayer should make his purchases using a single credit or debit card and bank account which have been declared on TAXIS online platform or he can declare more than one bank account.

France targets prepaid debit cards in fight against terror finance

France, announcing fresh moves against terrorist financing, said on Nov. 23 it would target prepaid debit cards which it said were used in the recent Paris attacks.
 
"We will regulate more strictly the use of prepaid cards which were used in the November 13 attacks, in order to make it harder to remain anonymous," Finance Minister Michel Sapin told a news conference.
 

Defaulted credit card and consumer loan debts rising in Turkey

The volume of defaulted credit card and consumer loan debts reached 15.1 billion Turkish Liras ($5 billion) in July, according to figures from Turkey's banking watchdog. 

Defaulted credit card and consumer loan debts rose by 14.5 percent and by 20 percent, respectively, since the beginning of the year, according to data from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK). 

Turkish gov't to ease consumer loan requirements to revive demand ahead of elections

The Turkish government plans to ease consumer loan conditions to revive the declining domestic demand just ahead of the upcoming elections, according to a report in daily Hürriyet.

n this vein, banking watchdog BDDK has been asked to prepare a revision to extend payment terms in consumer loans from 36 months to 48 months, sources said.
