Rowing coach accused of raping 15-year-old released on bail

The 39-year old rowing coach, who is accused of sexually harassing an underage female athlete, was released conditionally on Monday after testifying to an investigator in Thessaloniki. 

The man is accused of sexual abuse of a minor and rape, which he denied claiming it was a misunderstanding and a false complaint. 

Paris court to decide on Greek’s extradition to US

The decision of the French judges on the US request for the extradition of Greek businessman Nikos Bogonikolos is expected on Wednesday in Paris. Bogonikolos, who is completing six months in detention in Paris, is accused by the FBI of sending dual-use civilian and military technological equipment to Russia in violation of sanctions imposed on the Kremlin following the invasion of Ukraine.

Prosecutor: Father of Belgrade school shooter indicted

BELGRADE - The chief public prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade Nenad Stefanovic announced on Tuesday the prosecutor's office had raised an indictment against the father of a teenage boy who killed ten people - including nine children - and wounded six others - including five children - in a May 3 shooting spree in a primary school in downtown Belgrade.

Radoicic appears in hearing, denies any wrongdoing

BELGRADE - Milan Radoicic appeared in a hearing before the Higher Public Prosecutor's office in Belgrade on Tuesday on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of association for the purpose of committing criminal offences, the criminal offence of illicit production, possession, carrying and distribution of firearms and explosives and serious criminal offences against general safety.
